About Hearcents Billing
Ashley
I’m Ashley, the founder of Hearcents Billing Solutions. Over the years, I have found myself fully immersed in the billing world of Audiology. I am a self-taught and self-led Audiology biller. Understanding the private practice world of Audiology has been a deep passion of mine, ever since my wife became an Audiologist. Her passion soon became my passion. Isn’t that how marriage works?! My wife and I have two wonderful children, who we enjoy spending time with. As a family we enjoy new experiences, new foods, and new cultures. We spend a lot of time traveling when our schedules allow. I have a burning desire to one day visit every single Baseball stadium in a single season! I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio where the oldest baseball team in the league resides, The Cincinnati Reds. I love baseball, can’t you tell! Baseball and Billing are very similar! There’s a strategy and a process to win the game. In billing, you have to know and understand the codes to properly place in order to win at the insurance game. I would love the opportunity to earn your trust in securing the proper strategy of success for your team!
Emily
Dr. Emily E. McMahan is an audiologist and the owner of Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center in Anchorage. In addition to her physical practices in Alaska she serves high needs tinnitus patients via Telehealth and in-person field clinics across the United States. She holds multi-state licensure in order to help patients receive access to care closer to home.
She is passionate about tinnitus patient care, audiology, and overall best practices, including practice management and processes. She dedicates a considerable amount of time to educating audiologists on evidence-based care, how to establish a tinnitus clinic, and other practice management resources. Transparent and ethical billing practices are crucial for running a successful practice. While she is available if clients wish to utilize her billing knowledge her main focus is Feedback Audiology Solutions & Consulting, a branch of HearCents.
When Dr. McMahan is not in the office she enjoys traveling around the world with her family, adventuring throughout Alaska, listening to music, reading, and hanging out with her friends.
Kelly
Kelly Todd obtained her Bachelor's of Science from Montana State University. Her undergraduate focus was in Health and Human Development. Immediately following graduation she left Montana, her home to relocate to the Last Frontier, Alaska. She began her career in the public health sector serving the Alaskan people. She left the workforce for several years to focus on her young and growing family. She and her husband have two, very active children. Kelly joined the HearCents Billing Solutions team in 2021. In 2022 she joined the Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center team as an Audiology Assistant. While Audiology was not an area of health care she was familiar with initially, she has fallen in love with the field. Kelly enjoys helping providers navigate the insurance process to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Jasmin
Jasmin Rodriguez obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University Northridge (CSUN) in Communicative Disorders and Sciences with an emphasis in Audiology. She also completed her Doctor of Audiology at her alma mater. Go Matadors! She is currently the Insurance Verification Specialist for HearCents Billing Solutions. Her unique perspective as a trained provider has been a great asset to our team. Jasmin speaks English, Spanish, and ASL. Jasmine plans to return to clinical private practice settings in the future. Her goals are to specialize in tinnitus and decreased sound tolerance awareness. When she is away from work, her hobbies include dancing, running, trying new foods, and watching her favorite football team the Minnesota Vikings play.
Jamie
Jamie Block is an exceptional account specialist with a proven track record in client relations. Her extensive experience in customer service, spanning over a decade, allows her to expertly manage the intricacies of billing and ensure smooth transactions for your clients. She prides herself in her detail oriented skills to not miss even the smallest of details. Jamie specializes in Medicaid, Workers Compensation Claims, and the VA CCN networks. Jamie is also an employee of Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center and is their Office Manager and Lenire Patient Liaison. Jamie successfully balances her career with her personal life, which includes being married to her husband Bob since 2007 and raising two teenage children who share her love for adventure. She is an avid traveler and photographer, capturing the beauty of the world around her through her camera lens.

Kate
Kate lives in Upstate New York with her family. After focusing on raising her young children she returned to the workforce by joining the HearCents team at the end of 2022. She excels in customer service and her community minded outlook has made her an excellent addition to our team. She is an accounts support specialist and focuses on reconciliation and adjustments. Kate is highly detail focused and her attention to details has helped many clients navigate difficult situations.
Jana
Jana Kline Fligor is a detail-driven billing specialist who thrives on accuracy, organization, and keeping financial operations running smoothly. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati from the College Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts in Theatrical Design & Production. Armed with 5 years of expertise in the audiology world, a sharp eye for detail from her 8 years of quality assurance background, and over 10 years working in backstage Theatre skills- like storytelling, creativity, adaptability, and collaboration- translate well into keeping the numbers in check, invoices flowing, and financial chaos at bay. Whether it's tackling tricky discrepancies, ensuring payments are on point, or navigating complex billing systems, she gets it done with precision and a little flair.
Beyond crunching numbers, Jana brings energy, teamwork, and a touch of humor to the group, making even the most tedious of financial tasks feel (almost) fun. When she is not keeping the billing department running smoothly, you might find her: dancing with her children, taking photographs at their sporting events, singing along to musicals, playing with her husky Pooka, and appreciating the small gifts found in daily life.
Billing can be serious, but with Jana on board, it's always efficient, effective, and just a little more fun!
