I’m Ashley, the founder of Hearcents Billing Solutions. Over the years, I have found myself fully immersed in the billing world of Audiology. I am a self-taught and self-led Audiology biller. Understanding the private practice world of Audiology has been a deep passion of mine, ever since my wife became an Audiologist. Her passion soon became my passion. Isn’t that how marriage works?! My wife and I have three wonderful children, who we enjoy spending time with. As a family we enjoy new experiences, new foods, and new cultures. We spend a lot of time traveling when our schedules allow. I have a burning desire to one day visit every single Baseball stadium in a single season! I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio where the oldest baseball team in the league resides, The Cincinnati Reds. I love baseball, can’t you tell! Baseball and Billing are very similar! There’s a strategy and a process to win the game. In billing, you have to know and understand the codes to properly place in order to win at the insurance game. I would love the opportunity to earn your trust in securing the proper strategy of success for your team!

Dr. Emily E. McMahan is an audiologist and the owner of Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center in Anchorage. In addition to her physical practices in Alaska she serves high needs tinnitus patients via Telehealth and in-person field clinics across the United States.  She holds multi-state licensure in order to help patients receive access to care closer to home. 

She is passionate about tinnitus patient care, audiology, and overall best practices, including practice management and processes. She dedicates a considerable amount of time to educating audiologists on evidence-based care, how to establish a tinnitus clinic, and other practice management resources. Transparent and ethical billing practices are crucial for running a successful practice. While she is available if clients wish to utilize her billing knowledge her main focus is Feedback Audiology Solutions & Consulting, a branch of HearCents. 

When Dr. McMahan is not in the office she enjoys traveling around the world with her family, adventuring throughout Alaska, listening to music, reading, and hanging out with her friends. 

Jamie Block is an exceptional account specialist with a proven track record in client relations. Her extensive experience in customer service, spanning over a decade, allows her to expertly manage the intricacies of billing and ensure smooth transactions for your clients. She prides herself in her detail oriented skills to not miss even the smallest of details. Jamie specializes in Medicaid, Workers Compensation Claims, and the VA CCN networks. Jamie is also an employee of Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center and is their Office Manager and Lenire Patient Liaison. Jamie successfully balances her career with her personal life, which includes being married to her husband Bob since 2007 and raising two teenage children who share her love for adventure. She is an avid traveler and photographer, capturing the beauty of the world around her through her camera lens. 

With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, Mindi brings extensive expertise in medical billing and practice operations. For 16 years, she managed direct billing within a chiropractic office, overseeing insurance verification, claims submission, payment posting, and consistent follow-up with insurance carriers to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. She worked closely with patients to help them understand their insurance benefits, billing statements, and financial responsibilities, providing clarity and support throughout the process.

Her in-depth knowledge of revenue cycle management and insurance procedures enables her to resolve complex billing issues efficiently while maintaining organized, compliant systems. Mindi is known for her attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to accuracy.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mindi is a dedicated mother who successfully balanced raising her children while working full-time and running a side business. Her strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities reflect the dedication and reliability she brings to her role each day.

Kate lives in Upstate New York with her family. After focusing on raising her young children she returned to the workforce by joining the HearCents team at the end of 2022. She excels in customer service and her community minded outlook has made her an excellent addition to our team. She is an accounts support specialist and focuses on reconciliation and adjustments. Kate is highly detail focused and her attention to details has helped many clients navigate difficult situations.
